In Australia, outdoor living is a way of life. That’s why to us, your outdoor area isn’t separate from your house; it’s an extension of it. Providing the perfect platform to host and entertain or escape in isolation from the hustle and bustle of life, we help you design your ultimate outdoor getaway to make every day feel like a holiday.
At DJ Landscapes, we take genuine delight in getting to know each of our clients and utilising our design nous to bring their wants, needs, ideas and aspirations to life. Our collaborative, client-focused approach, combined with nearly two decades of experience in delivering beautiful, functional and resort-like outdoor areas, ensures not only an enjoyable design outcome but also an enjoyable design experience.
Working alongside you, our landscape designers make sure you get your ideal outdoor design for the lifestyle you want.
Here we discuss your ideas, wants and budget, and answer any questions you have. We explain our philosophy and how we can help you achieve your goals. Where possible, we do this meeting onsite to get a greater understanding and appreciation for your home and block and discuss any aspects that will impact design.
After our initial meeting we brief our design team. At this time, you’ll receive a services agreement. Once returned, one of our landscape designers will meet with you to discuss the finer details. Through this process, we’ll look delve deeper into your block size, house plans, budget and goals to help you achieve the optimal design outcome.
Our landscape designers will then produce the first set of preliminary plans for your review. To help you visualise your project better and have the opportunity to give further feedback through the design process, we’ll produce a computer-generated design.
Any amendments to the plans will be made and then sent back for further review. At this time, we’ll also offer price guidance on what we expect the costs will be before proceeding.
Once you’re happy, we’ll then use these drawings to submit any structural work requiring engineering and organising any Council permits and approvals.
When you’ve approved the quote, you sign the contract, an invoice is issued, and we start construction!
